Chelsea fans are mostly disappointed with the decision to sack manager Jose Mourinho, according to Sportsmail’s online poll.
More than 100,000 readers have voted, with 61 per cent suggesting it was the wrong move by billionaire Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
Mourinho was dismissed, just seven months after guiding Chelsea to the Premier League title, amid a terrible run of form that has seen them slide to 16th in the table.

Chelsea have lost nine of their 16 league games so far this season and have put in performances in stark contrast to those which saw them finish top at a canter.
Mourinho was in his second spell as boss at Stamford Bridge, having also managed the club between 2004 and 2007.
Across his two stints in west London, Mourinho amassed eight major honours, including the Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup crowns.
Despite Chelsea’s poor form, the decision to axe Mourinho is no less surprising, given his unwavering popularity among the club’s fans.
Several first-team players have paid tribute to their former boss, with Chelsea captain John Terry sharing a touching Instagram post.
The veteran Blues defender wrote: ‘Thank you doesn’t seem enough. Sad, sad day.’
Midfielder Cesc Fabregas, meanwhile, said on his account: ‘Thank you for all you have done for me. I owe you a lot and we will all miss you. Good luck in the future and i know you will be back soon.’
Pep Guardiola, Guus Hiddink, Juande Ramos and Brendan Rodgers have all been touted as potential candidates to succeed Mourinho as billionaire Blues owner Roman Abramovich begins another managerial search.
So, have Chelsea made the right decision? Have your say on the poll now.
