ANKARA, Turkey –  Turkey’s prime minister has denied reports of a disagreement with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over a list of Cabinet ministers and said he hopes a new government will be formed soon.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters Friday the two leaders enjoyed “healthy communications” and the new Cabinet would be announced after Erdogan returns to Ankara from Istanbul.

Turkish media reports said the two disagree on who should be in charge of the economy.

Erdogan asked Davutoglu on Tuesday to form a new government after his party’s victory in elections Nov. 1.

The ruling party, founded by Erdogan, regained the parliamentary majority it had lost in a June vote. The Nov. 1 election was a re-run called by Erdogan after efforts for a coalition government failed.
