The world’s “tallest and fastest coaster” has officially opened in New Jersey after weeks of delay.
Six Flags’ Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom stands 45-stories tall, reaching speeds of up to 90 miles per hour as it hurls riders to the ground from one of three towers.

The thrill ride is taller than Big Ben and twice the height of Lady Liberty, affording riders at the top a quick view of Philadelphia skyscrapers 52 miles from the attraction.
Zumanjaro was forced to delayed its highly anticipated debut amidst state inspector paperwork that had yet to grant the ride an operating permit.
The drop-coaster joins the Kingda Ka coaster, which speeds by Zumanjaro riders as they buckle up before boarding the yellow gondolas.
