Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is the subject of an audacious £58million from Manchester City, according to reports in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that City have sparked a bidding war that will involve Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

Could Paul Pogba be on his way to Manchester City?

Yohan Cabaye is ready to quit Paris Saint-Germain this summer and return to the Premier League.

The France international has been heavily linked with a switch to Crystal Palace this week, while West Ham, under new manager Slaven Bilic, have also been credited with an interest.

And former Newcastle midfielder Cabaye has revealed that staying at the French champions is not an option.

One transfer saga that will run and run is that of David de Gea… will he leave, won’t he leave? Essentially, yes he probably will – it seems very likely that he’ll be No 1 at Real Madrid next season.

MIKE KEEGAN writes about what life post-De Gea will be like for Manchester United HERE

The latest with De Gea, he says, is as follows:

‘De Gea has been offered a new deal worth £200,000-a-week to keep him at United – which is expected to be more than he would earn at Real.

‘But that deal remains unsigned and the La Liga giants, who are set to sanction the departure of long-serving keeper Iker Casillas to Fenerbahce, will step up their efforts to sign De Gea when he returns from international duty following Spain’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus in Borisov on Sunday.

‘A fee between the two clubs for De Gea, who has a year remaining on his existing contract, has not been agreed.’

The big news breaking overnight was that of Raheem Sterling, and DOMINIC KING writes that Liverpool have rejected an initial bid of £30million from Manchester City.

‘The £25m up front and £5m in add-ons offer was instantly rejected by the Anfield club, who value the 20-year-old at closer to £50m.

‘City are expected to return with an improved bid but Liverpool will no doubt refer them to the words of their manager Manuel Pellegrini, who told Sportsmail in March: “Can you get Raheem Sterling? Maybe if you go to Liverpool with £100m you can.”‘

Liverpool have announced the signing of Hungary international goalkeeper Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old Bogdan has 19 caps for Hungary and has made over 100 appearances for Bolton in the Premier League and Championship.

He will arrive at Anfield on July 1 to provide competition for Simon Mignolet. Current backup stopper Brad Jones will leave the club when his contract expires.
