- Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane are being assessed by club doctors after being involved in a car accident in Dublin
- The collision happened at approximately 6pm on Tuesday evening between junction 6 at Blanchardstown and junction 5 at Finglas
- The FAI have confirmed the incident after the pair ended up rear-ended in the car on the busy M50 motorway
- Seamus McDonagh, Steve Guppy and Steve Walford were also involved – but none are believed to be seriously hurt

Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill and his assistant Roy Keane were involved in a minor car accident on the M50 motorway in Dublin, but the pair were not seriously hurt following the collision on Tuesday night.
The accident, which also involved backroom staff Seamus McDonagh, Steve Guppy and Steve Walford, occurred between junction 6 at Blanchardstown and junction 5 at Finglas at approximately 6pm on Tuesday evening, with all five of the men now being assessed by the team doctor.
Confirming details of the crash The FAI tweeted from their official Twitter account: ‘The ROI mgmt team were involved in a collision on M50 earlier. Vehicle was rear ended in traffic. Have rtn’d to hotel & been seen by team Doc.’

An FAI spokesperson also added that the worst any of the five suffered were minor injuries, so the club doctor was able to deal with these accordingly.
O’Neill and Keane spent the day in Cobh prior to the crash, which comes ahead of the Republic’s crucial Euro 2016 qualifying match against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
The M50 motorway in Ireland, where the accident took place, runs in a C shape around much of Dublin.
