Los Blancos are sweating the fitness of two of their players ahead of the tie, according to Mundo Deportivo who are reporting that Fepe Valverde and Toni Kroos are doubts for the tie

Both players were at training today but only exercised on the touchline alongside Eden Hazard and Dani Carvajal who are both recovering from injuries.

Sergio Ramos vs Mo Salah

KIEV, UKRAINE – MAY 26: Mohamed Salah of Liverpool falls and lands on his shoulder after a collision with Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid, leading to him going off injured during the UEFA Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on May 26, 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine. Mo Salah was asked about his reunion with Sergio Ramos after the two clashed the last time the sides faced each other in Kiev.

Question: “Do you have special motivation to get revenge for Kiev?”

Salah: “Let’s just say that I have special motivation to win the tie and go through to the semi finals. What’s going to happen now isn’t going to change the result of the final in Kiev. That’s in the past.”

Question: “And is there a special motivation to face Sergio Ramos again?”

Salah: “(Laughs) That game is in the past, so I don’t think about it. I’m thinking about the team. Everyone is focused on their team and everyone wants to win… that’s it.”

Salah was also asked what he felt had changed at Liverpool since the 2018 final and his response was that much has changed.

“Since then, we’ve won the Premier League and the Champions League. We’re winners. That’s a big change,” Salah added.

We will all be looking forward to what should be a blockbuster European clash between two of the most decorated teams in the competition, both of whom have suffered with form this season.
