QPR have arranged a deal to bring Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to Loftus Road.
The 24-year-old former Arsenal attacker has signed a pre-contract agreement with the west London club and will sign officially when his deal with Bristol City ends on June 30.
Thomas, who has agreed a three year deal with Chris Ramsey’s side, scored 12 goals in 48 games last season and become the R’s third signing of the summer.

QPR have arranged a deal to bring Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to Loftus Road
Head coach Chris Ramsey told the club’s official website: ‘I’ve always admired Jay from afar and I’m really delighted we’ve reached an agreement to bring him here.
‘There was a lot of hype surrounding him when he was a young player at Arsenal, and although he’s had a very steady career since then, this is now a real opportunity for him to really kick on at QPR.
‘We’ll give him the platform to play and express himself. He’s got flair, he’s a good runner with the ball and he’s got great versatility. He is already a very good player, but his potential to keep improving is fantastic.’
Thomas will join highly-promising duo Ben Gladwin and Massimo Luongo who arrived from League One side Swindon last month.
Luongo scored six times for Swindon last season and chipped in with eight assists as the Robins narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship.
Both agreed three-year deals with the Hoops this summer for an undisclosed fee as Ramsey attempts to rebuild his side following relegation from the Premier League.
Ramsey has already lost Adel Taarabt this summer and face a fight to hold on to star-striker Charlie Austin with Newcastle among the clubs interested in signing the England international.

Adel Taarabt had his contract terminated by mutual consent and signed for Portuguese giants Benfica
