Paul Pogba signs deal with Amazon  which will include the making of The Pogmentary

Amazon have established themselves as genuine producers of sporting tv dramas. Their All or Nothing series, whether it focuses on NFL, Rugby or Football is a must watch and their recent documentaries featuring Manchester City and Spurs let fans into areas of clubs usually off limits.

Today, Amazon have announced that they will be producing and releasing in 2022 a documentary about Manchester United and France’s Paul Pogba, which will be called ‘The Pogmentary’. It will be part of a wider deal with the player.

The series will highlight his life, passions, accomplishments and the key moments on his rise to fame.

Georgia Brown, Head of European Originals at Amazon Studios, said of the deal, “Paul Pogba is one of the most prominent talents of his time, so we are thrilled to be collaborating with an overall deal and his series The Pogmentary.”

“This is exactly the kind of story we want to tell on Prime Video; and exactly the type of ambitious, once-in-a-generation talented people we want to highlight in our docuseries.”
