Louis van Gaal and his Manchester United players celebrated their return to the Champions League with a night out on Sunday.
Van Gaal’s side finished fourth, securing a play-off place in next season’s premier European competition, and the team headed straight to Manchester city centre after their 0-0 draw with Hull City.
Following the full-time whistle at the KC Stadium, United’s players made the 100-mile trip from Hull back to Manchester, arriving on their coach at TATTU bar and restaurant in the Spinningfields area of the city.

WHERE DID THE PLAYERS EAT?
TATTU restaurant and bar serves ‘modern Chinese cuisine’, and the United players could have chosen:
Red Pepper Lamb Chops – £22
Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye – £70
Goats milk, plum and lapsang souchong dessert – £8
Van Gaal and assistant boss Ryan Giggs were among the attendees as United celebrated their season before the players moved on to Panacea nightclub later in the evening.
United boss Van Gaal left at around 11.30pm while Wayne Rooney and his team headed to a club to continue the festivities.
Marouane Fellaini was perhaps the most outlandishly-dressed star, arriving in turquoise trousers, blue jumper and black shoes.
Captain Rooney also had a slight issue with his jeans upon leaving the restaurant and his top button was undone.
Dutchman Van Gaal admitted after the game on Sunday that he plans to take a holiday as soon as possible, following a hectic season in charge of both Holland and Manchester United.
He guided the national side to the semi-finals at the World Cup in Brazil before travelling to Manchester to immediately begin his tenure with United.

Speaking after the game, Van Gaal said: ‘I go immediately because last summer I didn’t have any holidays. I’m happy that now the holidays are starting.’
And he confirmed he has talked to the players who will be leaving, adding: ‘I have talked with everybody that I think I have to… I know which players have to go and which have to come.’
After a short break, United’s challenge now is to break into the top three and fight for next season’s Premier League title.

FEELING FREAKY – UNITED’S PLAYERS GET WEIRD AT PANACEA
Manchester United’s players perhaps got more than they bargained for at Panacea nightclub on Sunday night as they attended the ‘Cuckoo’s Nest’.
Their tagline, ‘Weird is about to get weirder’ sums it up… featuring fancy dress, face paint and fantasy, check out the video below to see for yourself.
