Man United’s Mason Greenwood set to be rewarded with new deal – Mirror

A recent report in the English media has claimed that Mason Greenwood is set to be handed a new contract.

Greenwood shining

Since the Premier League restarted in June, Manchester United have most certainly been the league’s in-form outfit.

The Red Devils are actually the only side in the English top-flight yet to lose a league game since the resumption.

One of United’s standout stars since the restart, meanwhile, has been Mason Greenwood.

Despite being just 18 years of age, Greenwood is already displaying all of the signs to suggest that he can become one of both Man United and the Premier League’s great centre-forwards.

The United youth product combines blistering pace with quick feet, a thunderous strike and an incredibly strong weak foot.

And in his last six league appearances, the Englishman has scored four and assisted one.

Man United to hand Greenwood new deal

Now, it seems that Greenwood is set to be rewarded for his fine recent form.

The youngster penned fresh terms with the Red Devils in October of last year, tieing him down until at least 2023.

But despite Greenwood having signed a new deal less than a year ago, United now look set to hand him yet another pay rise.

According to the Mirror, Greenwood’s latest deal saw him move from £800-a-week to £25,000-a-week.

And now, the same report claims that the England under-21 international is set to ‘cash in again’, by being handed a contract worth double that of his last.
