Man United & Bruno Fernandes’ dismal record against the ‘big six’ highlighted following Chelsea draw

Man United held by Chelsea

Manchester United faced off with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge a short time ago.

The Red Devils head into the tie on a fine run of form both domestically and in Europe.

However, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have also been pretty impressive of late, notching an eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions under the German before Sunday’s match.

And when all was said and done in London this evening, the two Premier League heavyweights cancelled each other out.

Chelsea probably had the better of the chances on the day, including Hakim Ziyech forcing a solid save out of David de Gea.

In truth, though, neither side was really able to control the tie for large periods, with a draw probably just about a fair result.

Bruno Fernandes blanks

On the back of this evening’s draw, some rather interesting stats have come to light, highlighting Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes’ pretty dismal record against the traditional Premier League ‘big six’.

Firstly, it was revealed that Man United have failed to score a single goal in their last six league meetings with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham:

As for Fernandes, the Portuguese has now scored just one goal and provided zero assists in seven PL ties against the ‘big six’ this campaign:
