Leicester vs Wolves

Leicester City welcomed Wolves to the King Power on Sunday afternoon.

The Foxes headed into the tie on a fine run of form both domestically and in Europe.

In the Premier League, Leicester began the weekend sitting 2nd in the table, just a point adrift of champions Liverpool.

However, they had fallen down to 3rd before kick-off on Sunday.

As for Wolves, they have been in fine form of late, notching three wins and a draw from their last four league outings.

Vardy can’t stop scoring

However, it would be Leicester who opened the scoring on Sunday.

Denis Praet would strike the ball off Max Kilman’s arm. And after a VAR review, the home side were awarded a spot-kick.

Jamie Vardy would step up to convert the ensuing penalty, firing Leicester into the lead and also earning his 8th goal of the Premier League season to make him the join-top scorer in the division currently.

Following his opener vs Wolves, an impressive stat concerning the 33-year-old has come to light.

After netting vs Wolves, Vardy has now managed to score at least one goal against the remaining 19 sides currently in the Premier League:
