Leeds United hitman Patrick Bamford’s post-Leicester interview this evening gave rise to a number of noteworthy takeaways.

Leicester 1-3 Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa’s men made the trip to the King Power Stadium a short time ago, for their latest Premier League outing.

The Whites headed into proceedings with their tails up, after bringing a 3-game losing streak to an end in timely fashion at Newcastle last time out.

And, when all was said and done this afternoon, Leeds went on to make it two wins from two.

A thoroughly entertaining affair at the King Power saw both sides exchange chances, en route to the net bulging on no less than 4 occasions.

It was the visitors who were responsible for 3 of the strikes in question, though, securing an impressive 3-point haul courtesy of Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison:

‘I’ll be alright’

Whilst a host of Leeds’ stars, evidently based on the eventual result, impressed versus Leicester this afternoon, none stood out more so than the aforementioned Bamford.

The hitman bagged a goal and 2 assists, in an all-round centre-forward’s performance.

As such, it no doubt came as a source of concern for the Whites faithful when, following the full-time whistle, Bamford could be seen limping, and looking in some degree of pain.

In turn, speaking during a post-match interview, the 27-year-old was inevitably drawn on his wellbeing.

Bamford, though, quickly went on to quell any worries, explaining:

‘Dead leg, I’ll be alright!’

Another interesting takeaway from the Leeds star’s chat with Sky Sports, meanwhile, came when Bamford admitted that he has selected himself in his own Fantasy Football team.
