Lacazette resurgent, Saka dazzling, a post-Wenger high & more as Arsenal make short work of West Brom

Arsenal’s victory over West Bromwich Albion this evening has since seen a host of noteworthy statistic surface online.

Laca at the double

Mikel Arteta’s men made the trip to the Hawthorns a short time ago, for their latest Premier League outing.

The Gunners of course headed into proceedings with spirits high in the club’s camp, on the back of a timely upturn in form.

Following a 7-game winless streak in the English top-flight, Arsenal bounced back with a 3-1 downing of Chelsea last weekend, before putting Brighton to the sword by a solitary goal during the week.

And, when all was said and done this evening, the north Londoners’ resurgence continued, en route to a comfortable 4-0 victory.

Kieran Tierney opened the game’s scoring just past the 20-minute mark, courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance:

Arsenal’s 2nd five minutes later, meanwhile, proved equally easy on the eye, as a wonderful exchange between the trio of Alexandre Lacazette, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka eventually allowed the latter to slot home into an empty net:

And the Gunners onslaught only continued following the interval, as Alexandre Lacazette added some gloss to the scoreline, with a fully-earned double.

The Frenchman’s first came courtesy of a coolly-taken side-footed finish into the bottom corner, before yet another rampaging Tierney burst down the left saw the stopper’s driven delivery across the face directed into the roof of the net from close range:

Arsenal’s latest win sees the capital giants looking up the Premier League table, having climbed from a low of 16th spot at one point last week up to 11th this evening.

Laca, Saka & more

And, as outlined above, on the back of proceedings coming to a close at the Hawthorns, a host of remarkable statistics, surrounding both the Gunners as a whole, and the club’s individual stars, have come to the fore online.

First up is the latest on the form of Alexandre Lacazette, who continued his impressive resurgence in front of goal versus West Brom:

Next, the facts and figures highlighting the brilliance of prodigious talent Bukayo Saka:
