Kell Brook showed his playful side on Monday as he invited a young boy into the ring for a mock sparring session during a public workout.
Brook defends his IBF world welterweight title against Frankie Gavin at the O2 arena on Saturday.
But in the meantime, he had to be careful to avoid taking a punch from six-year-old Oliver Blackwell.

Brook sticks his tongue out in jest as Oliver took another swing at the undefeated 29 year old
Brook told Sky Sports: ‘He was swinging for the houses! We want to get the fans laughing, get them behind me and get the kids in here. The city of Sheffield has turned out today and I want to thank everyone for coming out.
‘He’s [Gavin] has wanted this fight for a long time.
‘He’s a very classy opponent, he won the amateur world title and when he’s up for a fight he always performs.
‘The fans are in for a treat. I’m fully prepared and I’m not looking past Frankie Gavin.’
Brook is making the second defence of the belt he won from Shawn Porter last year, having stopped Jo Jo Dan in March.
The 29-year-old from Sheffield insisted on having another fight just over two months late as he bids to make up for lost time after being stabbed in Tenerife last September.
Gavin, meanwhile, faces the toughest test of his career in his first challenge for a world title.
The last time he stepped up, against European champion Leonard Bundu, he lost by split decision in his home town of Birmingham.
Gavin has since won three in succession against limited opposition but is confident he can shock Brook.
‘This is a very winnable fight for me,’ he said. ‘I have to turn up and do what I have been doing what I have been doing in the gym and I think he is in for a hard night. I have to thank Kell for the shot but I will be doing everything in my power to take that title off him.
‘On my day I can beat anyone. If I win this fight, any fight in the division is there for me down the line. I have wanted a World title fight for a long time and I am not going to let it go now. This is not about money, it’s about winning a World title – I am ready to make a real statement.’

Brook showed no sign of nerves as he prepares for his second fight in as little as just over two months
