Impressive 45 minutes for Jude Bellingham has Liverpool and Manchester United fans all saying the same thing

Impressive 45 minutes for Jude Bellingham has Liverpool and Manchester United fans all saying the same thing

Dortmund kick off their Champions League campaign

Borussia Dortmund are currently locked in action with Turkish side Besiktas in the first game of the Champions League group stage for each club. The Black and Yellow will be looking to improve on their quarter-final exit last campaign to Manchester City, and certainly will feel that they have the tools to do so.

And despite the immense talent on show for Marco Rose’s side, it was the youngest player on the pitch who made the breakthrough. Jude Bellingham, a household name to both Premier League and England fans alike, ran onto a pass from Thomas Meunier before firing the ball past a hapless goalkeeper to give his side the lead midway through the first half.

It did not end there either for the Englishman, who broke past two challenges before putting the ball on a plate for Erling Haaland to stroke in a second goal for Dortmund.

Safe to say, his 45 minutes did not go unnoticed by those of a Premier League disposition.

Manchester United and Liverpool fans react

Bellingham, a one time Manchester United target and thought to now be on the radar of Manchester City and Liverpool, created a rare moment of unity on social media between rival fans, as all begged their respective club to chase his signature.

It seems certain that Bellingham will depart Dortmund in the future, but where will he end up?
