Tottenham striker Harry Kane has confirmed that he has had no update from the club regarding his future, since departing for the European Championships.
Kane wants out
The bombshell news which Spurs fans across the globe were no doubt long dreading was of course finally forthcoming last month.
This came in the form of widespread reports that star hitman Harry Kane had informed the club of his desire to move on this summer, in search of silverware.
The revelation, originally brought to the fore by Sky Sports News, was subsequently picked up on by a host of sources across the English media, amid the seemingly widespread understanding that Kane is indeed eyeing a new adventure.
#THFC are now making enquiries about replacement centre-forwards, in the first indication that the club are willing to consider the feelings of their 27-year-old talisman.

The weeks since, meanwhile, have inevitably seen a whole host of European giants tipped to swoop for the English international.
None, though, have been more persistently linked than Manchester City. In fact, just this week, word was forthcoming that the Premier League champions had tabled a big-money bid for Spurs’ star man:
Manchester City made an official proposal to Tottenham for Harry Kane. £100M guaranteed + availability to include players in the deal.#THFC have NO intention to accept. Harry wants to go, but Levy will try to keep him. ❌

‘Nothing with the personal stuff’
To this point, however, despite Kane’s will, and the mounting media speculation, Daniel Levy and co. have stood firm, adamant that the club’s captain and talisman will be going nowhere over the weeks ahead.
And, as outlined above, this weekend, Kane himself has too been drawn on the subject of his future.
Speaking to reporters ahead of England’s upcoming showdown with Germany, the 27-year-old first assured that the widespread chatter surrounding his name has little effect on his performances on the pitch:
‘It doesn’t really bother me about the outside noise. When I’m here I’m with the boys, I try to help the boys, be a leader in the team.’
When pressed on whether or not he has heard from Tottenham since departing for the Euros, Kane added:
‘I have good luck messages and things like that but nothing to do with the personal stuff with the club really.’
‘If I’m totally honest I don’t really read anything, no media,’ the hitman continued.
‘The most important thing is about us as a group and as a nation and when you are in these tournament modes, sometimes it’s easy to get caught away with other stuff but the experience I’ve had in the last few tournaments, is just to focus on this and do what you can in the moment and leave no regrets.’
