A hat-trick from Andre Schurrle capped a devastating second-half display as the World champions thrashed minnows Gibraltar.
The former Chelsea forward opened the scoring for Joachim Low’s side on 28 minutes but the Germans struggled to overpower the valiant determination of the hosts.
However five goals in 34 mesmerising second-half minutes, including the completion of Schurrle’s treble, pushed the Germans back to within one point of Euro 2016 Group D leaders Poland.
