Feeling within Man United that Mino Raiola is only person who wants Pogba transfer – Times

A recent report in the English media has provided some insight into the relationship between Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba, plus the latest on the potential market for the latter this summer.

Pogba & Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes made the move to Manchester United during the most recent January window.

And whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has limited the midfield maestro’s minutes in a United shirt so far, his impact at Old Trafford has already been clear for everyone to see.

The former Sporting CP standout has added some much-needed spark to a Man United midfield previously devoid of creativity, netting three and assisting four across nine outings in all competitions.

It’s also worth noting that Man United are actually yet to lose a fixture in which Fernandes has featured, with the midfielder’s scintillating displays having even seen him garner the Premier League Player of the Month award for February.

However, whilst Fernandes has been impressive so far, the United faithful will no doubt be keen to see the Portuguese international link up with Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman can be a frustrating figure at times due to his inconsistencies, but one would imagine that the pair would indeed form a frightening partnership.

And, if the aforementioned report from The Times is anything to go by, then signs of such a partnership have already begun to form in training.

As per The Times, Pogba and Fernandes have been getting along well in training this week, according to those who have watched their progress at Carrington.

And whilst some aspects of the pair’s personalities are ‘very different’, it is said that they both possess a competitive streak that unites them, and makes them respect each other.

Pogba staying put?

The Times then go on to give some insight into Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford.

The World Cup winner has, of course, been heavily tipped to leave United in recent seasons, with both Juventus and Real Madrid linked.

However, according to The Times, Pogba’s chances of securing a move to either Real Madrid or Juventus this summer have diminished due to the financial crisis brought about by COVID-19.

It is also understood that the Red Devils are yet to receive an offer from Los Blancos.

The Times even go as far as to claim that there is a feeling at Manchester United that Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is the only person who actually wants a transfer for the Frenchman.
