Lewandowski backs Haaland
Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has backed Erling Haaland to be a huge success and praised the Norwegian forward for his quality and hunger to score goals.
The Polish striker went even as far to say that Haaland could become the best striker in the world one day. A title many currently award to the 32-year-old.
“He’s a great player. He has huge potential. And he’s still very young,” Lewandowski said.
“If I see his face and how hungry he is to score goals. In the future, he has a chance to be the best striker in the world, for sure.
“But sometimes when everything is going well, it’s really not easy. But if you see him, he has scored so many goals and he’s so young.

However, Lewandowski quickly quashed any ideas regarding Bayern Munich looking to replace him with the Norwegian forward.
“It’s great to play in the Bundesliga and it’s great to see a young player in this league and compare. He is the player who can be the best, but I want to play at the highest for many more years, so I am happy to be there where I am.”
Bayern have a history of poaching Dortmund’s best with Lewandowski coming from BVB previously along with the likes of Mats Hummels and Mario Götze.
Larsson Dortmund’s replacement
With the amount of rumours circulating regarding the Norwegian striker this summer it seems the most likely outcome that the 20 year-old will depart from Dortmund in the summer to make a big money move to a club before his buyout clause activates in 2022.
This would leave Borussia Dortmund with a lot of money to spend in an attempt to find a prospective replacement.
A very difficult task considering the amount of goals which Haaland is able to score. Although, with how much creativity surrounds him in the form of Gio Reyna, Jadon Sancho, Thorgan hazard and Marco Reus, whoever Dortmund bring in will be given a glut of opportunities to score.

One such name is the former Barcelona and Celtic striker Henrik Larsson’s son Jordan. The Swede has been with Spartak Moscow in Russia since leaving his homeland in 2019.
He has scored 12 goals and recorded 5 assists in 23 matches this season with Transfermarkt valuing him at just over £8 million. Despite the huge sum of money Dortmund will likely receive for Haaland, the idea of again investing in a younger player and developing them does suit the style of the club.
West Ham are also credited with an interest in the 23-year-old.
