David de Gea sends 3-word message to Man United fans after footage surfaces of furious reaction to derby defeat

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has taken to social media on Saturday evening, to reveal his sombre reaction to the club’s latest defeat.

Silva rounds out the scoring

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men of course marked their return to Premier League action earlier today.

On the back of a crucial comeback point secured at Atalanta during the week, the Red Devils welcomed fierce rivals Man City to Old Trafford, eyeing a 2nd successive league victory.

When all was said and done on Saturday, however, such efforts fell flat, to say the very, very least.

The latest in a season of underwhelming performances to date ultimately saw United put to the sword by two goals to nil.

Eric Bailly’s own goal set the ball rolling for Pep Guardiola’s City inside ten minutes, before Bernardo Silva’s back post finish on the stroke of the interval ensured that the visitors emerged with all three points.

‘Hurt’

In turn, on the back of the curtain closing on another difficult day in a campaign which initially promised so much at Manchester United, it should come as little surprise to hear of the club’s stars being in less than jubilant mood on Saturday evening.

One such player who was spotted allowing his emotions to get the better of him in the immediate aftermath of the clash, meanwhile, was David de Gea.

Shot-stopper de Gea, who enjoyed an otherwise excellent outing, will no doubt be frustrated upon watching back replays of Silva’s Man City 2nd tonight, with his furious departure from the Old Trafford pitch having been caught on camera by one of those in attendance at the clash:

And the hours since the defeat have evidently done little to ease the pain felt by the Spaniard, who, a short time ago, took to social media to send the following three-word message to the Red Devils faithful:
