Colin Montgomerie successfully defended his Senior PGA Championship title on Sunday with a closing 69 in Indiana.
The Scot, who famously never won a major despite enjoying a glittering European Tour career, now has three senior majors after also winning the US Senior Open last year.
Montgomerie did not shoot over par all week as he finished eight under par, four shots clear of Mexico’s Esteban Toledo.

The 51-year-old hits his second shot on the 15th hole during the final round of the competition held in Indiana
Montgomerie came into the final round with a three-shot lead over Bernhard Langer, who he was paired with in the final round at Harbor Shores last year, but alarm bells may have been ringing when he bogeyed the first.
Any doubts were soon blown away, however, as the 51-year-old picked up shots on the fifth, seventh, ninth, 10th and 12th.
He bogeyed the 15th but a birdie on 16 gave him a five-shot cushion and he could afford to drop a shot on the last.
A double bogey on two and dropped shots on four and eight knocked Langer out of the reckoning although he did pick up shots on nine and 10.
Former Masters champion Sandy Lyle finished the tournament on two over with Ian Woosnam 10 over and Sir Nick Faldo a further four shots back.

Montgomerie speaks to the media and watching audience after winning the 76th Senior PGA Championship
‘I’m just making up for lost time,’ Montgomerie said at the trophy presentation, to much laughter from the watching crowd.
‘I spent 22 proper years trying to do this and three have come at the one time and it’s a fantastic time I’m having.
‘The American crowd have embraced me, I’ve embraced them and I’m having fun out here and I think that is what it’s all about.’
