Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin’s £15million price tag is threatening to scupper his hopes of a move.
Austin’s preference is to leave Loftus Road this summer following the west London club’s relegation.
A host of clubs are keen on Austin; including Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

QPR striker Charlie Austin is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs this summer

Austin’s £15million asking price is putting off interested parties and QPR are yet to receive a formal bid
QPR were hopeful of sparking a bidding war for the striker this summer, particularly after Austin’s excellent first season in the Premier League.
However, despite receiving numerous enquiries for the striker, Rangers are yet to have a formal bid for Austin.
And it is understood Austin’s £15million asking price is putting off interested parties who believe the fee is too high for a striker with just one top-flight season under his belt and just 12 months on his contract.
Austin is hoping QPR re-consider their valuation as he looks to stay in the Premier League next season.
And given the lack of concrete offers for their star-asset, Rangers may be forced into lowering their demands.

Austin scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, his maiden campaign in the competition

Now on the periphery of the England set-up, Austin is keen to keep playing in the top-flight
