LeBron James garnered much attention Thursday night, but not because of his basketball skills.
During Game 4 of the NBA Finals, James inadvertently exposed his genitals to millions watching on live television and suffered a bloody gash to the head after a collision with a cameraman.
Indeed, broadcaster ABC gave fans more than they may have wanted to moments before the showdown between the crucial 4th game between Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
As James was getting ready to take the court, the camera moved in for a close-up.
Turns out it got a little too close.

The flash did not escape the attention of viewers and it remains to be seen if ABC will face a financial censure for the error.
In May, the FCC fined Virginia television station WDBJ $325,000 for accidentally showing the explicit website of a porn star during a puff piece about her volunteering for the local fire department.
And of course, nearly 90 million people watched Janet Jackson’s infamous ‘wardrobe malfunction’ during the Superbowl half time performance in 2004
The FCC fined CBS a record $550,000 for that – which was later thrown out when the broadcaster went to the Supreme Court.
The accidental flash happened when James was adjusting his shorts as he started to tuck in his jersey revealing himself to an audience that has averaged about 18.5 million viewers in the first three games of the series.
If that slight embarrassment was not enough, with 4:43 minutes left in the second quarter of the game, James drove to the basket and was fouled by the Warriors’ Andrew Bogut.
The Cavaliers star fell backward, taking a tumble right into photographers behind the baseline.
He writhed in pain on the floor for a few moments holding the gash that extended from the middle to the back of his head in a curved shape as teammates and staffers surrounded him.

Headache: James told ESPN at halftime that he had a headache; he said the wound was closed up by ‘glue’ and he wouldn’t need stitches

Returned: He held a towel on the back of his head and later returned to the game shooting two free throws

James finished with 20 points — 7-of-22 shooting –, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in 41 minutes. The Warriors came out victorious with a final score of 103-82.
The Warriors’ Stephen Curry, named the NBA’s most valuable player, scored 22 points and delivered six assists.
Andre Iguodala scored 22 points as well and, according to the Bleacher Reports, his defense on James has been key all season.

The Cavaliers seemed to fail to capitalize on home-court advantage at Quicken Loans Arena in the game that Bleacher Report states has been the Warriors’ best yet in the finals.
The top-seed Warriors seemed to have rediscovered their scoring touch as they leveled the series 2-2.
The Warriors were off to a rough start, falling behind 7-0 in the first three minutes, Reuters reports, but built a 15-point lead in the second quarter.
The Warriors breezed through the fourth quarter.
Game Five is scheduled for Sunday in Oakland.
