Leicester vs Wolves

Leicester are set to welcome Wolves to the King Power on Sunday afternoon.

The Foxes head into the tie on a fine run of form both domestically and in Europe.

In the Premier League, Leicester began the weekend sitting 2nd in the table, just a point adrift of champions Liverpool.

As for Wolves, they have also been in fine form of late, notching three wins and a draw from their last four league outings.

Rodgers provides updates on Evans & Soyuncu

Ahead of his side’s meeting with Wolves, meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has provided updates on the fitness of several of his first-team players.

Jonny Evans has missed the Foxes’ last three outings across all competitions due to injury.

However, Rodgers confirmed that the stopper should be available to make his return this weekend:

“[Evans] should be available as long as there’s no reaction. He’s trained very well today. He looked strong and had good mobility in an area that was an issue for him, so we’re hopeful for the weekend. Jonny coming back is great news for us, apart from that all the other guys are just outside.”

The news on Caglar Soyuncu, on the other hand, isn’t as positive, with the 24-year-old not expected to be back on the pitch until the Christmas period:

“It’s probably more weeks (than months) away. He thankfully didn’t need the operation. He’s doing some mobility and flexibility work outside, but not kicking a ball yet.

“We’re going to see how that goes after the international break and we’re hopeful that he might be available at some time before Christmas.”
