Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is a target for Real Madrid, but will demand wages that would make him the second highest paid player at the club behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Poland striker would want an annual salary of €18 million (£13.9million) to leave Bayern Munich for the Santiago Bernabeu, according to Spanish paper AS.
If Madrid stumped up the cash, it would make Lewandowski better paid than the likes of Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez.

Ronaldo is estimated to be on around £288,000 a week, Bale £256,000, Ramos £140,000 and Rodriguez £120,000.
And according to reports in Italy, the club’s spending might not stop at Lewandowski.
Corriere dello Sport lead with Madrid identifying Italy and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti and Juventus striker Alvaro Morata as transfer targets, who used to be at Real.
Elsewhere, Mundo Deportivo leads with ‘two No 1s’ at Barcelona, but they are not referring to the goalkeepers Claudio Bravo and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
They are alluding to Lionel Messi and Luis Enrique. Messi is two goals away from his 300th La Liga strike while Enrique is going to oversee his 100th game as Barcelona manager.
So far, he was won 79, conceded 72 and scored 280.
