Manchester City are giving fans the chance to get that extra bit closer to their team with the installation of a new 360 degree Tunnel Cam – the first in the world.
The trailblazing technology allows fans far and wide to keep an eye on City and their Premier League opponents both before, during and after a game.
City’s new bit of equipment gives unprecedented views of the Etihad Stadium tunnel and allows fans to control the angle they want to see by tuning into the club’s official YouTube account.

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard can be seen by YouTube viewers on Manchester City’s brand new camera

Viewers can watch Vincent Kompany pump up his side, check out the relationship between both sets of players or watch post-match celebrations or commiserations.
The technology is perfectly designed to be viewed on the move via an up-to-date version of the YouTube app on either Android or IOS phone or tablet with the user able to change the angle using the device.

On Sunday those tuned in got a glimpse of a vast array of emotions including the jubilant Manchester City players, a glimpse of the returning Mario Balotelli and the sheer anger of Diego Costa.
Costa was seen giving City midfielder Fernandinho a death stare after the Brazilian midfielder had caught the striker with a trailing elbow in the first 45 minutes of the game.

Ex-Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli popped into the tunnel to meet former captain Vincent Kompany

Balotelli was also joined by Micah Richards and fans could see both on the 360 degree tunnel cam on Sunday
But less than an hour beforehand footage showed Costa all smiles with Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has both prepared to run out onto the pitch ahead of the game.
In 2011 City installed tunnel cam to get their fans closer to the action, but with the 360 camera viewers can tune into the moments they have never seen before.
