BERLIN – Police say one man has been seriously wounded in an early-morning scuffle in the western German city of Cologne.
Police spokeswoman Cathrine Maus said a number of callers reported the incident involving several people in downtown Cologne before 4 a.m. She said a man was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries, and there was no immediate information on the nature of his injuries.
Officers arriving at the scene found shattered glass and a substance that looked like blood.
