Juventus are on the verge of signing Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado on loan with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season, according to reports in today’s Italian press.
Cuadrado has struggled to make an impression at Chelsea and has fallen even further down the pecking line at Stamford Bridge following the £21million arrival of Pedro from Barcelona.
The Colombian was initially offered to the Turin side as part of a player plus cash deal for midfielder Paul Pogba, but it now seems Cuadrado will move to Juventus regardless.

Elsewhere in Europe the Spanish back pages are concentrating on Sunday’s games – with both Real Madrid and Barcelona preparing to kick off their domestic seasons.
Marca claim a new-look Real Madrid will start with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale in attack as Rafa Benitez returns to La Liga after 4,109 days away against Sporting Gijon.
