What better way to celebrate helping Portugal to the European Championships than with a huge slap-up lunch.

Cristiano Ronaldo jetted home from his side’s 1-0 win over Denmark, and shared the impressive meal on Instagram on Friday lunchtime.

The Real Madrid star’s banquet includes fresh fruit, potatoes, scrambled egg and Italian meats, as well as juice and water.

There were no sugary products on show as the Portugal captain is clearly keen on keeping in shape during the La Liga season.

Ronaldo and his international team-mates secured their place at Euro 2016 in France with their sixth win in seven qualifiers on Thursday night.

Of course, that calls for a celebration and there was no expense spared on Ronaldo’s part as he flew in his private jet, before putting on the luxury banquet.

Portugal face Serbia on Sunday in a match that is essentially now a dead rubber, with Portugal already through and Serbia unable to qualify.

Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in nine games for Real Madrid this season, including a stunning five-goal haul against Espanyol in September.
