Conor McGregor has taken to Instagram to show off his new festive presents and the UFC star has certainly been a good boy this year judging by the gift he unwrapped underneath the Christmas tree.
Never one to choose half measures, the Irishman was already targeting his next conquest after needing just 13 seconds to defeat Jose Aldo at UFC 194 earlier this month in Las Vegas to claim the world featherweight title.
Staring down the camera, the 27-year-old held a toy bazooka at his family home in Dublin, where he was later joined on the sofa by his long-term girlfriend Dee Devlin.

Conor McGregor posted an image with a toy bazooka writing: ‘You don’t want to be in a room if this goes off.’

The Irishman was able to put his present down at one point to sit with his long-term girlfriend Dee Devlin
‘You don’t want to be in a room if this goes off,’ warns McGregor in the accompanying caption as the intimidating mixed martial artist fools around with his latest toy.
McGregor is hoping to become a dual champion in both the featherweight and lightweight divisions, but ‘Notorious’ looked happy to put his career aspirations aside to spend time with his family at this special time of year.
In one picture posted onto social media, McGregor’s 2.4million followers could see a relative loading up the ‘U.S. Army’ toy weapon in the living room, with the UFC star adding the caption ‘Stuffing the Bazooka like a turkey #ChristmasAtHome.’
At a time when the old tradition in Ireland of serving duck or goose at Christmas is often observed, mean poses was the dish of the day in the McGregor household as the champion sat next to a beaming Devlin in front of the tree.
Despite his unwillingness to break out into a grin, McGregor was far from the Grinch as he wished his fans a Happy Christmas after an excellent year in the octagon.

A relative of McGregor prepares to load up the toy with the caption: ‘Stuffing the bazooka like a turkey.’
