Fenerbahce made it through to the Last 16 of the Europa League with a hard-fought 3-1 aggregate win over Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Turkish side were made to sweat after an Aleksandr Samedov strike on the stroke of half-time put Lokomotiv Moscow in front in the second leg after a 2-0 defeat in Istanbul last week.

But Mehmet Topal scored with a looping header only seven minutes from the end to send Robin van Persie and his team-mates through to the next stage of the competition.
