Three Leicester City players have been caught on camera taking part in a vile orgy in which a girl was racially abused in Bangkok.

According to the Sunday Mirror, young Leicester players James Pearson, son of manager Nigel, striker Tom Hopper and goalkeeper Adam Smith were filmed with three Thai girls committing sex acts in a hotel room.

One player can be heard calling a woman a ‘slit eye’ before others laugh at the jibe while the girls are also taunted as ‘minging’ in the video shared by the Leicester trio with friends back in the UK.

The players can be heard laughing throughout the video with Hopper telling one girl she is ‘f***ing minging… an absolute one of out 10.’

Another of the players can also be heard saying ‘Go on that love’ before the three reserves watch the women indulge in lesbian sex acts.

The video has emerged from the Foxes’ post-season tour in the homeland of the club’s Thai owners and Leicester have now launched an internal investigation and sent the three players back home. 

A Leicester statement said: ‘The Board of Leicester City Football Club is deeply concerned about an incident involving three of our young professionals during a recent trip to Thailand.

‘Our players at every level are expected to behave as representatives and ambassadors for our Football Club, both on official Club duty and in their personal lives, so we treat their conduct extremely seriously.

‘Following a preliminary meeting in consultation with the three players earlier today, the players involved in the incident are now returning to the UK, in advance of the rest of the squad.

‘Tom Hopper, James Pearson and Adam Smith would like to convey their sincere apologies for their behaviour – to the women involved in the incident, to the Club and its owners, to the Club’s fans and to their families.

‘A formal process of investigation will be undertaken with the players in conjunction with their representatives and, as such, no further comment can be made at this stage.

‘Leicester City remains wholly committed to promoting equality in football and in wider society and to our players recognising their responsibilities as role models to young people.’

The east Midlands club have a strong stance against racism while manager Pearson is a patron of football’s Kick It Out campaign.

A Kick It Out spokesman said: ‘We are aware of the allegations and have contacted Leicester City Football Club. We will await their response before commenting further.’ 

Its Amazing Thailand branding has appeared on the back of the club’s shirts over the last two years with Leicester also renewing its partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand for a third season.

A number of Thai people told of their outrage in comments posted on the Leicester City Facebook page as calls mounted for the three players caught up in the storm to be sacked.

An open letter on the site posted by Papitchaya Gully and signed off as ‘Thai people’ says they are ‘infuriated’ at the video and calls for something ‘to be done’.

The Foxes survived the drop this season with seven wins in their last nine Premier League matches. 

Pearson’s 22-year-old son James is yet to appear for the first-team and has spent time on loan with Carlisle and Wrexham.

Striker Hopper scored four goals in six appearances on loan at Scunthorpe while goalkeeper Smith appeared four times for Mansfield.
