Diaz, speaking to radio station RGS Futbol 94.3FM, added: ‘My dream is to play for Arsenal, which I’ve had since I was a child. My future? I am told that it is all but done for my transfer to Roma.

‘At the moment it’s very quiet, I still do not know when I will leave for Italy, but in essence my move to Roma has been confirmed.’
