Rickie Lambert got life at West Brom off to the perfect start as he scored twice in an easy win against Bristol Rovers on Friday night.

The striker, who completed his move from Liverpool earlier the same afternoon, took just 23 minutes to get his name on the scoresheet against the League Two side.

Craig Gardner then got in on the act in the 34th minutes with Lambert grabbing his second just after the restart and Victor Anichebe sealed a comfortable win with a late fourth.
